Introduction
My name is Elizabeth May, but I'm mostly known as Lizzy. I'm 16 and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I don't really like who I've become as a person and I'm not sure who I am, really. I'm scared of the unknown, especially the future. I don't cope well with change. I have pretty severe trust issues, I dunno who I can trust anymore. There's only a few people in the whole world that I trust with everything: my dad, my brother, Portia and Stuart. I can get really deep and meaningful at times. A lot of the time I'm just a regular teenager: I just want to fit in. I'd like to think that I'm not a sheep and that I have a mind of my own but sometimes it's just easier to follow the crowd. I often get teased because I'm thin, and I hate it: I would love to gain 5/10kg, I don't choose to be this thin. I would love to be able to stop biting my nails. I would like to say that I am comfortable in my skin, but I'm not.

Extra
I speak two languages (English and French) because I believe it's really important to be able to communicate with people from all different cultures, it's fascinating. I like photography and scrapbooking. I love architecture and history. I appreciate the simple things in life. I have a small obsession with Ed Norton at the moment. I do drink sometimes, but I don't need to drink to have a good time. I will never, ever smoke. I'm currently doing 6 TEE subjects, although I might drop one. Next year I'm doing: Applic, Lit, Biol, Chem, History and French. The only one I have to do is Lit, which, ironically, is the one I don't enjoy at all. Ice skating is a big part of my life: I skate twice a week at Cockburn Ice Arena and I love it. I'm really proud of myself for sticking with something and taking it through this far, it's been about 2 and a half years now. My skates are my favourite thing in the world. Despite what a lot of people think, I really love food. I love cheese and milk and yoghurt, espcially. I also like Indian food, proper Turkish kebabs, Dim Sum, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, Tim Tams, Vegemite on toast, escargot, bread and triple chocolate icecream.

Television: House, Dexter, Skins, The OC, NCIS, Friends.

Also, I'm not really comfortable with people I don't know reading my journal so just leave a comment telling me a little bit about yourself and how you found me and I will consider adding you (I generally add most people anyway). It would be nice if you weren't just adding me to get a bigger flist, I'd like it if we had similar interests or something. And if you're one of those people who do friend cuts just because people don't comment, don't bother. I usually do read all my friend's posts, I'm just too lazy to comment a lot of the time.
